Pennsylvania Elevation Overview
Pennsylvania’s terrain includes the Ridge and Valley province of folded Appalachian mountains, the Allegheny Plateau in the west, the Piedmont and coastal plain in the southeast, and the Great Appalachian Valley (Cumberland Valley) running diagonally northeast-southwest. Mount Davis at 3,213 ft is the high point.
