Mississippi Elevation Overview

Mississippi’s terrain is uniformly low and flat. The Mississippi Delta in the northwest – one of the most fertile agricultural regions in the world – barely rises above sea level. The Tennessee Hills in the north include Woodall Mountain at 807 ft, the state high point. Gulf Coast communities face significant storm surge risk.
