Essential Job Duties

Crop and Soil Science is looking for a full stack developer to build a geo-spatial platform for feeding data generated from satellites, tractor mounted camera systems, and other sources of spatial data into web-based decision tools and serve up maps of plant performance and management recommendations.

Job duties include:

Develop React applications from the ground up.
Design and implement the databases needed to store geo-spatial data: combinations of tile, vector, and raster spatial data.
Design and implement REST APIs to interact with the new databases.
Present pros and cons of different solutions to our development team
