Summary
We are seeking a Junior GIS Analyst to join our staff! This position supports an established contract developing mission-critical operations for the U.S. Coast Guard.
Responsibilities

Create, oversee, and facilitate new and existing workflows
Build, organize, and maintain geodatabases
Provide support in formatting and analyzing issues with geospatial data to ensure data performance and stability
Perform geographic, and intelligence analysis, as well as complex problem-solving
Create, refine, and improve workflows as the data structure grows

Position Requirements

Up to 3 years experience in geospatial analysis and map production
BS/BA in Geospatial Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, (High School Diploma or Associates Degree acceptable for well-experienced candidates) OR Academic degree/certificate in Geospatial Sciences or equivalent
Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Pro software tools and extensions
Workflow automation is a plus
Familiarity with ArcGIS extensions (Spatial Analyst, etc.), MS Excel, and Google Earth is a plus
Familiarity with Python and writing scripts in Python are a plus
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
