Maxar has an urgent and immediate need for an Imagery Analyst to join our team in Tysons, VA.

Project: Our customer needs a motivated Imagery/Geospatial Analyst to collaborate with a unique IC-wide team to task, process and analyze diverse imagery data sets in support of a complex mission identifying hard targets. We do this as a team working closely with targeters and collection managers. Working collaboratively across the community on important national security issues results in a rewarding experience. Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:
Working with tasking and collection teams to identify the best imagery platforms and products to meet mission needs.
Searching and ordering imagery from large data libraries.
Processing and exploiting various imagery data sets in support of target tracking and analysis.
Creating graphics for presentation to various customers and decision makers.
Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph.
Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Geography, Intelligence Studies, etc. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
Minimum 5 years professional experience.
Experience in imagery and geospatial analysis.
Experience with software packages such as Remoteview, ERDAS Imagine, etc.
Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and software platforms such as ESRI, QGIS, etc.
Familiarity with multiple imagery platforms including space and air-based, government and commercial.
Experience with tasking imagery collection.
Experience as or working with targeters and collection managers.
Ability to function as the sole imagery/geospatial expert contributing to a large, multidisciplinary, mission-based team.
Ability to communicate well with teammates from other disciplines.
Experience in creating imagery-based intelligence products.
Experience supporting operations.
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$91,000.00 – $151,000.00 annually.
