GIS Analyst – Remote
POWER Engineers, Inc. Portfolio Management Information Solutions (PMIS) Department has an immediate opening for an ArcGIS Analyst. The GIS Analyst position is responsible for managing and maintaining GIS artifacts with Esri technology for POWERs portfolio management collaboration platform called POWER360. POWER360 is a cloud-based proprietary application built by integrating off-the-shelf software (ArcGIS is one of them) with some custom-developed tools. This position requires hands-on experience with ArcGIS tools, with special emphasis on ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
The GIS Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day operations implementing and supporting POWER360s portfolio of GIS data, maps, and apps. The GIS Analyst will also be involved in designing Geospatial solutions to meet customer requirements and systems for maintaining GIS maps, apps, and data.
This position is posted in Billings, Montana; but the successful candidate can work remotely from any location in the U.S. (Please state your location in the application).

Role & Responsibilities
Author, publish, serve, curate, and administer GIS content to publish to the ArcGIS platform
Curate project GIS content at ArcGIS Online
Access and manage data using off-the-shelf GIS tools mostly ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
Be able to design and perform ArcGIS Pro editing operations

Required Education/Experience
Degree in Technology, Geography, or related degree required
Post-Degree training and knowledge currency
At least 5 years in the GIS consulting business
ArcGIS Components

Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online (3 years)
ArcGIS Pro (2 years)
ArcGIS Data Store (1 year)
ArcGIS Apps (3 years)

Field Maps, Survey123, Collector, Navigator, etc.
Exposure to authoring, publishing, serving, training, and supporting.

o ArcGIS APIs experience ( 1 year ):

ArcPy

o Legacy ArcGIS Stack (5 years):

ArcGIS Desktop 10x
Geodatabase:

SQL Server or Oracle
Read, write, and implement basic SQL

o Data Management (5 years):

Knowledge of GIS data management patterns
Geodata migration patterns

Desired Experience/Education
BS in technology. Advanced degree preferred, DOE
Geography concepts
ArcGIS concepts
Database concepts
Engineering:

Utilities
Construction
Land management
Civil, environmental, geotechnical

Experience in fast-paced client-success-driven consulting environment:
