Responsibilities

Work with supervision as part of a dynamic team focused on providing actionable geospatial information and products to a variety of customers.
Manage GIS data on multiple networks
Digitize new authoritative vector datasets and build new web maps and applications.
Assist with teaching GIS courses and update course material.

Qualifications

Complete the STC application through our website, stcnet.com, and answer the screening question regarding citizenship.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Bachelors degree in Geography or related field, with 3 5 years of experience in GIS concepts and using GIS software. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data, and database structures. Must be able to quickly adapt to new development environments, application platforms, and architectures.
Experience must include expertise in the use and understanding of: ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, SDE and Oracle geospatial data storage. Experience with two or more of the following is a plus: QGIS, React, Python, Django, SQL, and/or JavaScript.
Must be able to learn new skills quickly, have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and work in a team environment.
