The Pennsylvania Game Commission is hiring a Geospatial Specialist to work in Dallas, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Join our team to support the mission of the Pennsylvania Game Commission!
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position performs technical and analytical work in geographic information systems to capture, manipulate, analyze, maintain, interpret, and present geospatial and related data while providing professional GIS coordination, planning and analysis at both a regional and enterprise level. You will work as a member of the regional office team, reporting to the Chief, GIS Services Division, Bureau of Automated Technology Services (BATS). Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Geospatial Specialist 1 (commonwealth title); or
One year of technical experience utilizing geospatial programs to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, maintain, and present geospatial data; and an associates degree in geographic information systems, geography, geospatial technology, cartography, computer science, natural science, or related STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field, including or supplemented by six (6) credits in geospatial coursework; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes or is supplemented by six (6) credits in geospatial coursework.
This position requires that you possess one or more years of full-time experience with ArcGIS Pro.
This position requires that you possess one or more years of full-time experience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
