This position will be responsible working within a GIS production team to develop application automation to improve efficiencies. Development tasks would focus primarily within the Hexagon Geospatial product family. Some tasks can be performed remotely, however on-site work in Huntsville, AL will be required.
Job Duties

Expected to deliver new features and enhancements to improve efficiency within a production environment
Work directly with production team to gather requirements and create design and user documentation

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM related discipline, or relevant coursework in geographic information science
Deploying and supporting end-user software for an active user-base
Experience with source control management (SCM) tools like Team Foundation Server
Experience VB.Net, C# development
Experience with automation application programing
US citizenship
TS/SCI Clearance Required

Additional Experience Desired

Automation applications within GIS Software (GeoMedia, ArcGIS, etc.)
Python scripting
Developing and deploying geospatial mapping applications
Relational databases: PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and SQL Server
JavaScript unit and integration testing frameworks
Experience with a range of web technologies including REST, SSL
C++ development
Web/Server development
System Administration and Deployment
