At Steampunk, our goal is to build and execute a data strategy for our clients to coordinate data collection and generation, to align the organization and its data assets in support of the mission, and ultimately to realize mission goals with the strongest effectiveness possible.

For our clients, data is a strategic asset. They are looking to become a facts-based, data-driven, customer-focused organization. To help realize this goal, they are leveraging visual analytics platforms to analyze, visualize, and share information. At Steampunk you will design and develop solutions to high-impact, complex data problems, working with the best and data practitioners around. Our data exploitation approach is tightly integrated with Human-Centered Design and DevSecOps.
Contributions:

Serves as the GIS Analyst.
Compiles, manipulates, and analyzes geospatial data.
Designs, develops, and maintains databases and system of GIS data.
Creates reports, maps, applications, and visualizations convening the results of spatial analyses.
Utilizes scripting languages to refine GIS data pipelines and processes.
Provides visual interpretations of data, to include geographic and pattern of life analysis of applicable data.
Serves as lead and provides training.
Experience executing in an Agile, DevSecOps environment highly desired.
Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCS) system implementations highly desired.
Day-to-day duties will require access to Top Secret/SCI information and materials.
Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in use of GIS tools for a multitude of data sets. Experience in Esri ArcGIS desired.
Experience using Agile and DevSecOps methods and techniques desired
Experience with Cloud-based solution implementation preferred
Must have a Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level
Must meet U.S. residency requirements
Must meet U.S. residency requirements
A Bachelors Degree, or a combination of experience and education exceeding the degree/education requirements.

In accordance with the contractual terms and conditions set by the customer, Steampunk is required to pre-screen candidates based on customer defined criteria to determine eligibility.
