Position Summary

INCATech LLC is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to be part of our digital modernization efforts to support federal government customer in U.S. The Geospatial Engineer requires knowledge of both ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, with a bias toward ArcGIS Desktop/Pro. Additionally, the position requires a
TS/SCI security clearance to support our Department of Defense client onsite at the government location. The need is for a platform/configuration engineer with knowledge of both Desktop/Pro and Enterprise, with a bias toward Desktop/Pro. Work would include onsite configuration, dev/test of developed code, and moving Desktop workflows to Pro 3.x.

Work Location: SUITLAND, MARYLAND

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Onsite configuration, development/testing of developed code, and moving ArcGIS Desktop workflows to ArcGIS Pro 3.x
Implementing new software features
Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
Writing and maintaining automated unit and system-level tests
Working closely with customers, other developers, and managers
Developing interfaces using specified tools and standards
Developing test plans and performs unit testing for all interface projects
Maintaining interface documentation and specifications
Diagnosing and resolving issues

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or combination of education, related work experience, and/or military service)
Knowledge and experience working with ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
Experience with automated software testing at various levels including unit tests, integration tests, and system tests
Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Experience working with personal geodatabases and knowing how to move data from .mdb to SQL enterprise geodatabases is a plus
Knowledge of maritime specific capabilities is a plus, especially ArcGIS Maritime/Bathymetry and its application to ENCs/DNCs, bathymetry, MATT, TOD, and similar
Ability to self-train and problem solve
Familiarity with the Agile development process
Ability to quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiatives
Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification is a plus

Security Clearance Requirement

Must hold a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
