The Opportunity:
With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled analyst can turn that data into mission-critical information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the national defense. Were looking for an advanced geospatial analyst to lead our team of analysts as they extract meaning and context from a variety of vector and raster data sources. Youll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to answer customer needs. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate ways to get the most out of resources like ArcGIS and Google Earth.
Youll also use your skills to leverage satellite and airborne remote sensing solutions, and youll analyze data to assess the meaning and potential intent. Youll design, analyze, develop, create, and map geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Youll work with the team to improve communications with visualizations including density graphics, heat maps, terrain analyses, and formal reports to ensure warfighters, stakeholders, and policymakers have the timely information they need. Youll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as we work through problems and develop workflows. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to develop geospatial intelligence solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with geospatial analysis
8+ years of experience with ESRI, Google Earth, and ARC GIS software in a professional environment
Experience in networking with other geospatial analysts from external national and local organizations
Knowledge of COTS geospatial tools
Ability to develop, manipulate, and maintain geospatial databases
Ability to provide expertise, insight, and advice to geospatial personnel on complex geospatial tasks and theory
Bachelors degree
Nice If You Have:

Experience with working in the Military or DoD

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
