Employing Cesium 3D tiling pipelines, the Smart Construction Dashboard and Simulation applications manage, process and visualize large amounts of 3D data from a variety sources including drone survey data, building models, sensor data, and terrain imagery, to generate digital twins of real-world job sites.Using our data visualization, optimization and virtual reality capabilities, along with our partnership with EARTHBRAIN Ltd, we are helping transform and shape the future of earthworks and construction site management.As we expand this important alliance, we are seeking an experienced JS Full Stack Developer to join our services team building and supporting Smart Construction applications. Bring your experience in JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL databases and contribute to the development of all aspects of our production web applications; including front-end, back-end, batch processing, and operations. Participate in a collaborative development environment using GitHub, code reviews, and CI.As part of the development services support team you will work across all levels of the stack to support applications that are pushing the boundaries on what you can do with 3D data while contributing to Cesium ongoing success and valued partnership.What you’ll do
Build and ship code. Expect to code every day for most of the day.
Work with a team of Cesium developers directly supporting EARTHBRAIN’s engineering team across all levels of the stack to build, document, test, and maintain Smart Construction applications and servers.
Participate in collaborative development using GitHub, code reviews, and CI
Work on challenging problems in a fast-paced continuous learning environment
What we’re looking for
5+ years of full time JavaScript experience after completing undergraduate degree.
Strong modern JavaScript development skills that are well-versed in at least one tech stack using libraries and tools like LitElement, React, Redux, Node.js, and similar.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
Experience with Docker-based development and AWS is a bonus, but not required.
Experience or interest in DevOps, InfraOps, and CI/CD is a bonus, but not required.
Experience with big data, or geospatial data is a bonus, but not required.
