Sovereign Consulting Inc., an environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking an Environmental Data Analyst with up to 3 years of experience in data analytics and processing for its NJ, PA or greater St. Louis, MO office locations.
Responsibilities:

Integrate data from laboratory, field, and historical sources into Sovereigns EQuIS databases and other systems
Create complete georeferenced data files in ArcGIS, populate metadata, upload and maintain current data on internal and client geospatial databases
Work with project teams to plan sampling campaigns, provide query/reporting support, and develop reporting and evaluation dashboards and deliverables
Design, develop, test, and maintain SQL Server tables, queries, functions, views, and stored procedures to support ad-hoc user reporting requests, ETL processes, and troubleshooting
Interact and maintain successful relationships with clients, Sovereign employees, and subcontractors
Perform and manage multiple tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables

Requirements:

BS/BA in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related
Experience working with and knowledge of relational databases
Ability to write and edit existing intermediate to advanced SQL queries
ETL experience (Extracting, transforming, and loading data to other sources)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
GIS Experience
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (preferably Power BI)
Ability to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
Proficient in handling tasks independently as well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills (including written and verbal)
Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Coding skills in Python with data analysis packages (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib)
Git & Github

Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test. Candidates must present documentation that confirms identity and eligibility for employment in the United States.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers an excellent benefits package including: group healthcare program, vision and dental coverage plan, life and AD&D insurance plans, short & long-term disability programs, other supplemental insurance programs, 401(k) retirement plan, tuition reimbursement program, paid holidays and paid vacation. A relocation package will not be offered for this position.
