The Location: The candidate must be located in the Greater Albuquerque, NM area

The Team: The Team consists of four geospatial analysts in NM, a growing team of geospatial analysts in Bangalore, India and an additional flexible support team of 20+ external contactors in Kakinada, India. The Team creates spatial data from Oil & Gas documents and plats for our Energy and Natural Resources products.

The Impact: We are looking for someone who is dedicated to hard work, is driven and can help to grow ways to streamline our production workflows and automate reports. The US team is QA/QC focused; research is an essential skill and attention to detail is crucial. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with evolving processes and can adapt and contribute to developing workflows.

Responsibilities:
Compete training in our processes and applications to allow you to support ongoing GIS product creation and QA/QC within the global team
Assist in identifying inefficiencies and help create solutions and track processes for quality controls
Work with colleagues around the world to ensure accuracy of our mapped data, assisting other team members as required.

What Were Looking For:
School/college studies in GIS, Sciences, Geography and or Data management and analytics preferred
Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS (ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro) or other GIS software packages or a good understanding is advantageous
Motivated by learning new skills with understanding or proficiencies in Python, FME, Power BI, SQL and Data Management
Collaborative approach and able to work effectively with local and international colleagues, both independently and within a team structure
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and strong attention to detail
Familiarity with PLSS and legal land descriptions, reading plats and maps is advantageous
Experience with O&G business would be optimal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $39,000 to $42,0 00. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
