Become an Asset Data Remediation Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow Youll join the Asset Data & Solution Implementation (ADSI) team within Asset, Strategy & Planning (ASP), which is responsible for functioning as the single point of intake for all proposed asset data quality improvements, including sustainable root cause solutions. ADSI develops and manages the timeline for long-term asset data solutions. ADSI also develops plans for resolution of problematic data attribute areas (i.e., where significant volumes of data require remediation), and conducts targeted remediation activities with internal/external stakeholder resources where appropriate.

A day in the life – Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Build and manage a sustainable approach to tackling known data quality issues across our electric asset systems of record
Develop and manage deployment timeline for asset data remediation and solutions, including coordination with other related roadmap efforts
Preparation and socialization of asset data quality improvements timeline for use in stakeholder operating plans
Conduct targeted remediation activities including planning, analysis, and research
Project launch planning for root cause solutions
Lead planned and emergent data remediation requests
Lead development of new approaches to addressing data remediation
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
The essentials
10 or more years of experience performing tabular or geospatial data analysis
Experience leading cross-functional project teams
2 or more years of Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The preferred
Master’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or Engineering
Three or more years of experience in project planning, developing scope and schedule details
Consulting on business issues, including analyzing collected data and SME feedback, developing action plans, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
Operational experience within the public utility industry
Experience developing business cases for new project proposals including quantifying the value of qualitative benefits
Experience with Records Management Systems (e.g. SAP, ESRI, ArcGIS, SAS)
You should know
This positions work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

Testing
This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Candidates who have previously passed this assessment, in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
As part of the hiring process for this role, an excel based proficiency assessment will be administered.
