Indiana Elevation Overview
Indiana’s landscape reflects glaciation throughout. The north features flat, lake-dotted terrain of the Great Lakes region. The central till plain is gently rolling. Only the unglaciated Knobstone Escarpment and the Ohio River valley in the south provide notable relief. Hoosier Hill at 1,257 ft is the high point.
