Virtual Globes Museum

Well, the name kinda says it all!

This could possibly be the most un-inviting website in the world, but if you are prepared to overlook the user interface that was designed but angry people in the 1980's you will find a wealth of information and amazing 3D animations. The is even a link to downloadable google earth files, but unfortunately, this did not work for the globes that I tested. If you are into cartography, globes or 3D visualizations of earth you might really appreciate this site.
