Arkansas Elevation Overview

Arkansas splits between the Ozark Plateau and Ouachita Mountains in the north and west, where Magazine Mountain peaks at 2,753 ft, and the flat Mississippi Alluvial Plain and Gulf Coastal Plain in the east and south, which drop to 55 ft along the Mississippi River.
